Ending Strong

This year has flown by. In a few short weeks it will be summer! We have had a great and fun year, and we have learned a lot.  Many new friendships have blossomed along the way. What can you do to end the school year on a strong note? What can you do to be the best you can be these next few weeks?  How can you help yourself from making choices that will end up getting you in trouble? How should you treat your classmates even when you feel annoyed? Please write five complete sentences using the correct grammar and punctuation.

One thing I can do to end off on a strong note is to be very very helpful when a teacher or student needs help. I will not read when the teacher is talking or teaching. I will not talk over anyone or be disrespectful. This year was so fun but, I can't wait for summer. Mrs.O'Connel is the best!!!😜

  7. Litsen to my teachers and don't talk when they are talking. Be nice and respectful. Another way i can end of the year with a strong note is to do my best effort on all of my work. Don't read when the teacher is talking. If you did'nt do something wrong but you still get in trouble just go with it and don't argue. Also i can reycle when the teacher tells me to. And if i am at recess and Mrs. O'conell accedientaly left her water bottle upstairs and she asks you to get it, say yes because doing something for someone is as good as getting to play kickball at recess. Another thing i can do is if i get hit in dodgeball and i say it did'nt hit me, don't lie just go and deal with it! The HIGHLIGHT of my 3rd grade year is.... Mrs. O'Conell!

  10. I am going to not talk when we are support to be quite in class. i will be respectful to mrs. o'connle in class and if i need help in math don't just sit their because the answer won't come its self. Be honest and tell the truth if I'm stuck on a problem because we sort of just learned traditional double digit by double digit go and ask mrs oconnel.

  11. I think our class can do a couple of things to end the year on a good note.1). Quiet down! I like to talk to my friends a lot and sometimes I forget that I need to listen to Mrs. O'Connell and pay attention to her. It hurts her feelings and makes her feel like we don't respect her when we are either talking when she is, or reading when she is teaching. 2). Be honest. If you are doing something you shouldn't be doing, fess up. If you lie and someone finds out about it, you will get in even bigger trouble. You are better off owning up to your mistakes.3). Set a goal. Like Mrs.O'Connell said, I think we should set goals. Whether it's learning how to do your double digit multiplication to hitting a grand slam in your softball(and baseball!) game, goals are a great way to practice and get better at something. My personal goal is doing something kind every day.4). Be a flexible person. If your blog post doesn't work to send and you end up having to write it three times, be an optimist about it.(Believe me, I've had to learn that the hard way.)
5). Please be mindful of Mrs.O'Connell. She has worked really hard to educate us and I really don't think she wants to hear students screaming and laughing and not doing their work in the morning. We should try to be silent and whisper if we have questions to ask to our table mates. It would brighten Mrs.O'Connell's day to have a quiet classroom full of working kids. I hope we have a good rest of the year!!πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘©‍πŸ«πŸ¦„πŸ¦„πŸ¦‹

  12. I can listen better and I can treat people equally. I can not yell at my fellow classmates. I can have fun and have a nice year in third grade and say good bye. Thats how I can end the year with a bang. I can try my best not to get frustrated at others and focus more on my self. I need to remember that I control what I DO, not what OTHERS DO. Be kind and nice for these next few weeks.
