You are now four weeks into school! We have already learned a lot in a month!!! We are off to a great start! We have a lot to look forward to this year! We are going to be busy this year learning, reading, playing with numbers, creating, computing and lots of other fun activities, so hold on to your hat! Please write four to five sentences of what you have enjoyed so far this year, what you are looking forward to, and what you like best about third grade. Write with complete sentences and check your periods and capital letters.

ReplyDeleteI think third grade is the best! I love snack time and read aloud! Math is challenging but fun with the Promethean Board! I can tell my reading is getting better with all the strategies I have learned! Third grade is awesome!!!

DeleteMy favorite times of third grade are math, read aloud, and independent reading. I like everything that's happened so far, especially Mrs. O'connell. I'm happy I got Mrs O'connell. If this keeps up (and I think it will) this year will be my best year yet. All in all, I'm having a blast!

I am reading Kylie Jean Dancing Queen. It is about a girl who loves ballet.

My favorite summer reading book is "Mandy". The author is Julie Andrews. I love this book because it was a cliff hanger and you never know what's going to happen next. This book keeps you on your toes.

Mandy finds a deserted cottage in the woods and works for months to make it her own. But one stormy night she gets sick and no one knows how to find her except a special friend she didn't know she had.
The book I'm reading is called Super Spy. It is about a kid that makes gadgets and it is a really good book. You should get it for the classroom.

All day I can't wait for S.S.R (sustain silent reading) to come so I can read this book! It is about a girl that starts a business so she can buy the Perfect purse. I think it is a great book. I can't wait to read the rest!

I am reading Mallory on Board by Laurie Friedman. It is a really good book because it is funny and Mallory changes her emotions. My favorite part was when they made t-shirts. I recommend this book.
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Timmy Failure it's a really good book. It's about a kid who has a agency and his assistant is a polar bear named Total. His agency's name is Total Failure and his first mission is to find out who took the Halloween candy. I think it's a really good book hopefully you will like it too if you read the book.
