Look around...we see and use math everywhere and every day!!! We see and use math at the grocery store, on TV, looking out the window of a car, or at home. We use math adding scores when playing sports, paying money when shopping, telling time, measuring for cooking, and doing so many other things! Write three or more sentences sharing how YOU see and use math in your real life. Remember - use complete sentences and proper punctuation! I am excited to see how you see and use math every day!!!

I use math everywhere. For example, I use it to count batteries for my electronics. I also use math to solve problems. I have a mini ATM, which is my piggy bank, where I count my money.

ReplyDeleteI love math. I love to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide. You can use math anywhere. Like for counting money. If you need to buy many things you could add the total up.

I count the cars out the window add them up.Then count up another bunch and add those together. Then ad the two bunches up. There are a lot of things in life that we use math with!

DeleteI use numbers in the grocery for example I use them counting my money and I see the total. I count cars I count trees I count number. There are a lot of numbers in life.
ReplyDeleteI use math in a lot of ways. For example, I use math when I check my e-mail, it shows what time that person e-mailed me. Or say when doing my MATH homework, it also asks for the time. Or at this place I like to go Called Choo Choo Moving Sushi Bar, the sushi on the different colored plates costs different and you have to figure out how much your meal costs. There are many other ways I use math, but I will stop here.
ReplyDeleteI use math for a lot of things even for reading writing and a lot of other things too! Even though it is not my favorite subject. But I use it for so many different things like counting money and going to the store. there is a lot of things you do math with!!
ReplyDeleteI use math in a lot of things like drums,homework,writing, games,watching t.v,in the car,in a store,school,dinner,camp,vacation,reading and lots of other things. I love when math gets challenging because theres so many strategies to it. math is my favorite subject i school I bet lots of you love it to.I can't wait for are new unit to start. I wonder what it is. I love to count money to. Math is a subject you can do so many ways of. I LOVE MATH !!!! Math is awesome. have a great night!!!

ReplyDeletewhen i got home ihad to do a lot of math i had a soccer game and i had to know how many players were on my team and i had to know what the score was and who was wining.Then i had to know what time my sisters game was.
I use math when I dance I count so I know when to do the right steps at the right time.I also use math helping my mom cook so we can know how much ingridients to put in. I use math at lacrosse count or estimate how far I'm supposed to go.

ReplyDeleteI use math every time I have a gymnastics meet. I have to add up all my scores to figure out my final ranking. I use math every day when doing my homework. I really enjoy working on estimates right now. I also use math when i am counting my shoes in my closet. I think math is going to be interesting this year.
ReplyDeleteI use math in my cheerleading routine.So I know when I need to move to places.Also I use math when I made dog biscuits for my dog Marly to measure how much I need to put in the cups.I think math is more fun this year than last year.I love math groups!
