Look around...we see and use math everywhere and every day!!! We see and use math at the grocery store, on TV, looking out the window of a car, or at home. We use math adding scores when playing sports, paying money when shopping, telling time, measuring for cooking, and doing so many other things! Write three or more sentences sharing how YOU see and use math in your real life. Remember - use complete sentences and proper punctuation! I am excited to see how you see and use math every day!!!
I use math every day to see how much time until football. I use math to see how many outs in baseball. I also use math on my iPad.

ReplyDeleteYou can use math when you play baseball and count balls and strikes to see when they are out. And by telling time to see when it will be the end of the day. I use math to count how many days it is until my birthday.

ReplyDeleteI use math when I am playing basketball to count the goals. When I'm reading I have to set my alarm clock for 20 minutes.I also use math when I do my homework.
ReplyDeleteI use math when I want to count blocks on a rubix cube or if i wanted to add a small number on a high number to make the high number a bigger number or if i wanted to count the stars! P.S that would take a very long time. You can also count the time or you can cook a chicken and see how long you have to put the chicken in for. P.S if you do the wrong time your house might burn down. You can also count the score in games like football,soccer and more! You can also count the tempature or count how many people is in your backyard when you are having a massive party or if you want to weigh something you will estimate the weighing of whatever you are weighing at that time. You might want to count stuff around the world or count items in your house. You can also count how many polka dots is on your roof? Another way you can use math is when you want to know how many things is in your desk at school or how many Diet Dr. Peppers is in Mrs. O'Conell's closet??? Who knows????
ReplyDeleteI use math when my mom says I can watch YouTube for 5 minutes so I add the times of the videos to see if I have time to watch them. Another time I use math is when I count my allowance to see how much money I have. I use math everywhere!
