Now that we are more than half way to Oregon, let’s talk about the big ideas of Westward Expansion!

Did the pioneers achieve their goals?  Do you think the hardships of the trail were worth the final result? Let’s talk about the good, the bad, and the end of the Oregon Trail.  Be sure to include bad things that happened and celebrations along the Oregon Trail. Please write four to five complete sentences with the correct grammar, capital letters, and end marks.

  2. Some things that were dangerous, river crossings, diseases like cholera. A lot of other stuff too like the dust and chapped lips. I think that all they're sacrifices were worth it to get to Oregon. Oregon is just better than Independence, Missouri because the land. It's just better.

One bad thing was that they might get cholera and die. I think that the pioneers did achieve their goal because they got more land, freedom, and a better life and that us what they wanted.
