  8. My favorite part of pioneer hour was making butter because it was really fun and it's food. When you shook it you could tell the difference from when you started. While we were making butter each time you shook it, the butter didn't feel like liquid. I loved studying the Oregon trail!

  10. My favorite part of pioneer studies was reading Joshua's and Hattie's journals. I liked it because it would give me ideas for my journal. I also liked it because I love when someone reads out loud to me so I really liked it when every day when we would journal Mrs. O'Connell would read to us. I loved doing the Oregon Trail studies and can't wait to do fairy Tales. I hope that fairy tales will be as fun as pioneers.

  16. Making butter was my favorite. All you had to do is shake the jar and wait for it to get hard. It was probably the easiest out of all of these. The journal was probably the hardest. My second favorite would be the journals even though it was a bit hard. It was really fun. Can't wait for next year to see another class doing pioneers!

  17. Peters favorite part was making butter. It was so fun making butter. But the butter was a little bit to salty, but that is okay. After Mrs. O'connell put the butter in the fridge, it was good! The butter tasted good with the biscuits. I like butter and biscuits, I didn't know how to make butter. But all it is is heavy whipping cream and salt
