Fairy Tales

It has really been fun reading lots of fairy tales in the past two weeks. I know you have enjoyed comparing the fractured fairy tales to the traditional fairy tales. I would love for you to tell us about your favorite fairy tale or fractured fairy tale so far! What do you like most about it?  Is it the characters, setting, time period, the problem or the solution?  Be sure to include what you think the theme or the lesson of the fairy tale is. Be creative and write four to five sentences using the correct punctuation and capitalization.

  2. I think my favorite story was THE TRUE STORY OF LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD. My favorite part of my favorite fairy tale was when Red riding hood pulled the trick on wolf. I think the lesson was not to be envious to other people. There are lots of other fun books too, but this one was my favorite.

  3. I liked the Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig because I liked to hear what the traditional The Little Pigs was like in reverse. I also really enjoyed the illustrations. My favorite part was the solution because the wolves tried building really strong houses to avoid the Big Bad Pig but it didn't work so they decided to build a house of out flowers, which was really flimsy. And it worked.

  5. My favorite fairy tale was the Three Little Tamales. It was very funny when at the end of the story the three little tamales had a party with their best friends the runaway tortillas. The lesson was to not run on cactus roofs or else you will get cuts and you will start bleeding.🌽

  6. My favorite fairy tale that we have red is Rapunzel the traditional version. The lesson is don't steal from people, don't lie, don't take from witches, and don't lock people in towers! My real favorite fairy tale is The little mermaid! (Ps I love mermaids.)

  7. My favorite fairy tail we have read is the three little pigs. I liked the fractured three little pigs. It was called the three little tamales. I like it because I think it is a funny book. It was funny because the third little tamale built it's house out of cactus so he would be protected and the wolf steps on the cactus and started screaming. I think the lesson was don't walk on cactus because it will really hurt.

  8. My favorite fairy tale was Little Red Riding Hood but it was in the wild west. My favorite part was when people said she could eat fire but she said it wasn't hot enough. I think the lesson is don't trespass. In my opinion I like fractured fairy tales better because you can hear another side of the story. I like fairy tales because they are so much fun to read.📚

  9. My favorite fairy tale was the big bad pig. I liked it because it was very funny. One example of it being funny for me was a reverse version of the traditional book. I thought the lesson was that it was better to be friends than to be enemies.

  10. My favorite fairy tale was The Three Little Wolves. I thought the third house would work but it DIDN'T!!! I liked the solution, it was funny because the big bad pig was dancing. I think the lesson in the book was being nice is better than being mean.

  11. My favorite book was the three little wolves. I really like the big bad pig. Its kinda weird that at the end of the of the story the pig was nice. I thought the pig would just kick the house that was made of flowers or something. I really liked the book because it was wolves instead of pigs.

  12. My favorite fairy tale so fare has been The Three Little Pigs. It is my favorite because I love pigs, and I like how the wolf doesn't win against the pigs. The wolf in the story was the problem because he tried to blow all of the pigs houses down. I think the lesson in The Three Little Pigs is that hard work pays off.

  13. My favorite fairy tale was The Three Little Tamales, it was a fractured fairy tale from The Three Little Pigs. My favorite part was the second tamales mustache and the part where the wolf somehow figured out how to climb on the straw house. I also liked the part where the wolf basicly died climbing on the cactus house. The lesson was to never climb on cactus

  14. My favorite traditional one is cinderella. I think the moral is "don't mistreat people or they will get fairy god mothers." My favorite fractured one is .....THE THREE LITTLE TAMALES! I think that was most peoples favorite fractured story. When señor lobo blows down the house the first tamale runs away. Because of that I think it is more like the traditional one. My least favorite is the one where the pigs come off the pages. It was confusing. I can't wait too read more fairy tales!

  16. So far is the Three little pigs. I liked the fractured Three Little Wolf one. But my favorite one is the three little tamales. I liked that they were different than the rest which had animals. I like the three little tamales because they had to do with something hispanic. In the three little wolves i liked that they had one of the most secure houses and then they get wrecked. And thats all. My other favorite would be jack and the bean stalk but we haven't done that yet.

  18. My favorite fairy tale is The Three Tamales. The lesson is take more time on things, don't hurry and have a plan. The problem is the first two tamales did not even try to make a good house but the third one built a good house. The solution is the other two tamales came into the third house so the wolf would not eat them. The characters are the three tamales and Senior Lobo. It takes place in the dessert. I love fairy tale unit!
