  9. I love learning about Italy. I learned that when good friends meet they kiss in the air on both cheeks. The three strips on the Italian flag mean hope, faith and service to others. Most of the people who live in Italy go on vacation in August. About 80% of Italian people are Christian. Those are some facts I learned about Italy.

The names of the teenage mutant ninja turtles came from famous Italian artists named Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Leonardo.Pasta and a special type of ice cream called gelato were originated in Italy. Basil pesto (my favorite pasta sauce) originated in the region of Liguria in northwestern Italy near France.

  17. In Italy close friends greet each other by kissing both cheeks, I find that quite weird. They also call soccer, "calico!" Some of the most fancy/expensive car, including lamborgini, maserti, alfa romeo, and ferrari are all made in Italy. Jaloto is ice cream.
