Living History

Jane Goodall

I had a wonderful time listening to the fourth graders give their Living History speeches! As I was listening, my brain was surfing for new learning and fun facts. Also, I noticed that many of the famous people featured demonstrated amazing character traits that lead to their successes.

Please share your new learning, fun facts and/or thoughts about the important character traits of these famous people. Please write four to five complete sentences using correct capitalization and punctuation.

  10. I really enjoyed the Living history Museum that fourth grade did. I liked Irving Berlin because he wrote a lot of songs. He wrote a song about Christmas during World War II. Since a lot of the soldiers spent their Christmas in ships they enjoyed his songs. I also liked Bill Gates. He invented Microsoft, and Microsoft invented the x-box. I also liked Milton Hershey, he invented Hershey's. I'm really sad that we couldn't have a Hershey's kiss. I really want to do the Living History Museum next year.

She played tennis again her sister, Serena and she won. Venus is older than her sister. it must be hard to play against her sister. She was in the top 2 for the US Open but she lost and then she tried again and made it. I hope that I get to be her next year when I am in 4th grade!
