This week, we have explored a variety of feature articles and found that each of them engage and inform the reader, have catchy titles, and include quotes from experts. We have started brainstorming topic choices and discussed subtopics which will organize our articles even more. Share with us one or more of your topic choices and a few bits of information about them. Think about what you are passionate about! Write 4 to 5 complete sentences with capital letters and periods. I thought of doing an article about soccer or Camp Walt Whitman or being the oldest kid in my family. I chose to do mine about Camp Walt Whitman. I already know CWW is one of the 50 best camps in the world. It is in New Hampshire, in the White Mountains and the longest you can go is 7 weeks and the shortest you can go is 3 weeks. And you can also go for 4 weeks. I go for 7 weeks. And I love it so much!
ReplyDeleteI am thinking I should do a article on my soccer camp that I do in the summer. I really like it. Sometimes we get to do dodgeball and almost every lunch you get to have pizza witch is my favorite food. You also get to watch the world cup! Every four years. You get to stay there until lunch or stay until 3:00. I usually stay there for eight hours. Some of my friends go there to like Eric. I really recommend this place for soccer if you like it.
ReplyDeleteI chose basketball for my subject because it is one of my favorite sports. I play for St. Martin's and for two years we have finished in second place. I am going to play again next year and I play every day at my house. And I love watching college basketball, especially Duke. I always watch the rockets play.

DeleteI am going to right about vacation paradise. Lots of fun and relaxing places to go will be included. My dad and mom have been around a lot of places and told me a lot about them. I think it will be fun to research different places I hardly know about. I also think it will be fun to find Photographs and learn more about Featured Articles

I was thinking of writing a Lamborghini article. My favorite Lamborghini is the Egoista. The cars design is based on a jet and it has port and starboard lights. It only holds one person and it is so tight that you have to press the steering wheel up to get inside. The front windshield opens up for you to get in. I really enjoy fast cars and you can learn more about them in my article.
ReplyDeleteI am going to do my article about Bichon puppies. I like Bichon puppies because they are cheerful and small. They love mischief, have black eyes and look like a stuffed animal. I would like to have a Bichon puppy when I am older.

DeleteI am thinking about doing my article on our Earth's climate change. I have read some articles like this before and I find it very interesting. I am thinking about putting some map comparison photos on how much arctic ice there was in the 1960s and how much there was in 2000. I could also make a graph about it. I am looking forward to this social studies unit.

DeleteI decided to write about Alcatraz or fencing. It's a coin flip either way. I want to do Alcatraz because I find the prisoners who stayed there very interesting. Fencing because I fence. Alcatraz has been shut down. I think this will be a interesting unit.

DeleteI chose to do mine on shark attaks.Because I think they are interesting.The most popular shark attak I've herd of is Bethany Hameltons,so I'm going to right about it some where in my article.Most shark attaks are suceeded by great white sharks.I was thinking about squeezing video games in my article.It's fine if I can't,I just want to squeeze it in for the fun of it.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite part about the pioneer unit was making the butter. I liked it because you had to shake it super duper hard and it really let you fell what it was like to be a pioneer and it was really fun. My least favorite part probably was making the QR codes. Because I really don’t like speaking into microphones because I either speak to soft or I don’t speak clearly or I stutter. But I think I will love the fairy tale unit I can’t wait.
