  1. I learned that Greek parents wanted them to have them the best education. I also learned that when Greek children went home school they did things similar things as us such as playing outside, sports activities, and watching TV. I wonder if Guatemala is as the large as the U.S.

  2. I leaned that greeks are usually very friendly people who open their homes to stranger. Greek children do not celebrate their b-day instead they celebrate their name days. Greece is one of the lodes nations in Europe. Every story ends with a morals.the parthenon was bilted in 438 B.C. as a temple for athene the goodess of war.

  3. I learned that children in Greece ate a lot of the things that we eat like: chocolate,candy,and fast food.the population of Greece is 11,304,000 people in Greece! And there are 197 beaches in Greece!!!!!!!! Well those are some of the fact I know about Greece!

  4. I learned that Greek children usually went to bed on weekdays at about 12:00, and ate dinner at about 10:00.I also learned that on New Years Day, they celebrate St. Basil's day. St. Basil is similar to Santa Clause. One of my wonders about Guatemala are: about how many people live in Guatemala??? And, were the Myans the first people in Guatemala?

  5. I learned that no part of Greece is farther away from the sea then eight miles (god of the sea: Poseidon). I also learned that most people in Greece wear black all the time to show respect for their dead (god of the dead: Hades). I also learned that most of the earth there was mountainous (goddess of the earth: Gaea). And for my final fact, I learned that Greece is barely smaller then Alabama. My wonder is, about how many people are in Guatemala?

  6. I learned that most kids 6-15 yrs old go to public schools and barely any go to private school. The other fact I learned was that Greek kids don't celebrate their birthdays. They celebrate name day which is the name of the saint they were named after. My question is what part of the world is Guatemala in?

  7. I learned that Easter was a very important holiday to greese.And I learned that St.basils day was like greek cristmas.And my wonder is how do Guatemalan people learn spanish fast when its hard for us to learn it?

  8. I learned than Greek children go to school from ages six to fifteen. 98% of the people in Greece go to a Greek Orthodox Church. Greece was the first country to establish the Olympic Games thousands of years ago. One thing I would like to know about Guatemala is what the weather is like there.

  9. I learned Greece kids play sports, watch television and play computer games after school! In greece, grand parents watch the kids while the moms and dads are at work. Few people in greece live in the mountains. My question is which sports did the greece kids play sports like the kind we play or did they make other sports?

  10. I learned that dinner in Greece starts at 9:00 and goes until midnight. Almost every Greek building has a balcony. The population in Greece is 10 MILLION PEOPLE!!!. Greece is one of the most largest nations in all of Europe. My wonder that I want to learn is where or who gave Guatemala it's name and do they have any Jewish holidays if they have Christian holidays.

  11. I learned that most Greeks live in cities or coastal areas. I learned that there are 1400 Greek islands, and only 169 of them have people on them. I wonder what they eat in Guatemala.

  12. I learned that the kids after school they play on the computer and watch t.v and that some times they get special tutors to get knew learning and my question is was their city always that big or that small?

  13. I learned that the Greek people ate Avgolimono, which was egg, lemon soup, eggplant, and a nut filled pastry. In Greece, restaurants are called tavernas. The Greek people loved sports like soccer, basketball track and field events. I wonder how do the Greek people travel?

  16. These are some facts I learned about Greece. I learned that children in Greece eat dinner at 10:00 pm and go to bed at 12:00. I also learned that Mount Olympus in the temple of the ancient Greek gods. And for my question about Guatamala is what is the population of Guatamala? Another fact I learned is that people in Greece eat hamburgers I thought that it is only a American food!!!! I hope you learned as much as I did, BYE!!!!!!

  17. I learned that greek dinners start at 9:00 PM and end at 12:00!!!!
    I mean SERIOUSLY!!! I want to know if the greeks have lots of tropical fruits like starfruit and dragonfruit! ive tried them in hawaii! I didnt know that easter was SOOOOOOOO important to them untill yesterday! I want to go to greece someday!
