I learned that most of the chiefs were men. Also, they told their history through story-telling. And, I learned that all tribes were different from one another because of their location.

  6. Here are six things that I learned about Native Americans. I learned that the Native Americans are also known as the Nomads. Also their main sources of food are hunting, fishing and farming. And each tribe has a chief who was in charge. Also all of the tribes did a lot of storytelling to each other. The tribes fought a lot against each other in war. And the Cherokee was the first to have their own language. The video was so cool and I can't wait to pick our Texas Indian tribes.

  7. I learned that the Native American tribes lived in six different areas. Another thing I learned was that the water level dropped in the ocean to form a frozen land bridge from Asia to North America. The third thing I learned was that the tribes had many wars for resources. I also can't believe that they drove buffalo off cliffs to kill them. I knew a lot about Native Americans but I learned a lot more than I already knew.

  8. I learned that the main tribe of the Southwest were the Cherokee. The Cherokee grew corn, beans, and squash. They hunted squirrels, rabbits, bears, and deer. Some Native Americans would drive buffalo off a cliff and when they fell to their death, the Native Americans would collect the important parts of the buffalo. :( . Anyways, war was common in the Cherokee. The Plains Indians had a grand buffalo hunt. :( . Goodbye!

  10. Natives settled in six basic areas. Great Plains and Eastern Woodlands were among them. Each village had a chief and did not fight a lot. Cherokees lived south east and south west. They ate corn, beans, squash, pumpkins, and sunflowers. Their winter houses were round. They lived along the Missouri river and twice a year they cleared for a buffalo hunt.
