The Eastern Woodlands had lost of snow. Iroquois people hunted for salmon and had a confederacy where they discussed war, peace and trading with other tribes. Native tribes are really interesting!

they didn't have beds back then. they used wool to make blankets.

  9. When a girl wonders around a path in the forest, like she did when she was young, She asks herself, who we're the first people here?! Then she thinks back to when she was with her grandmother. Her grand mother told her many things. She was very wise. It all started with, the Southeast. They grew sunflowers, pumpkins, and many other things. They hunted bears, turkeys, and I'm sure many other animals. The tribes lived in cone shaped houses, there were up to 400 of them! A sport there was called "Little War." It was sort of like lacrosse. They spoke Cherokee. It was the first american language! Thats just a couple facts. If it seems interesting, go ahead and by it, or rent it from your local library!

  15. The tribes of North Amarica were very different. The most common Native Amaricans were Cherokee. Cherokee were the first Native Amaricans to have a written language. 50 to 1,000 people can live in a Iroquois village. Mohove Native Amaricans made clay bowls to make food. In Inglet there houses were TPs. The young Inglet kids liked to play games such as lacross and socer. Totem poles show family history. Indian tribes had to adapt to different climates.
