We have not blogged about what we are reading for fun in a long time, and we all know that books can really add a lot of joy to your life! I always like to have a good fiction book around...like a good friend. Lately, I have been reading a book called At the Water's Edge. This book is historical fiction, and it is for enjoyment. Historical fiction is based on historical events and people that are true but the story is fiction. Books can be entertaining and POWERFUL! Please write 4 to 5 sentence about the book you are reading right now. Be sure to the correct capitalization and punctuation.

ReplyDeleteI am reading a book called Earthling. I am also reading a book called The sandwich Thief. They are both really good books and I really like them. Earthling is a graphic novel. The sandwich thief is a chapter book. I like both of them.
ReplyDeleteI have been reading a book called Real Friends. The book is about a girl named Shannon. She has one best friend, named Adriene. There is a cool girl, named Jen, she is so popular that all of the girls want to be with her and they would do anything to be her number 1 friend. Shannon wants to hang out with Adriene, but Adriene wants to hang out with Jen. Shannon's feeling get hurt a lot. There is a lot of drama.

The part where I am is where they are in a room with soldiers. They are talking to someone it is the mayor I believe. It is a very good book I recommend it.

ReplyDeleteI've been reading a fiction book right now. It is called ''Diary of A Wimpy Kid, Hard Luck". I mean it's a pretty good book. There's a lot of ''Action'' in it. It's about this kid named Greg which every thing goes wrong in his life and I mean EVERYTHING!
ReplyDeleteI have been reading Lucy and the Neanderthals. It's about Lucy's little brother Andy is trying to hunt a Mammoth. But his older brother is much stronger and bigger. So Andy makes spears for his older brother Phil to go on the mammoth hunt. And when Andy throws the spear he realizes its just an acorn and it bonks off of the mammoths tusk and hits Phil in the head. Now phil changes his act and gives Andy his spot in the Mammoth hunt. That night Phil hugged Andy so the next morning he bonked Phil in the head with an acorn again so Phil would be mean again.

I'm reading a book called Two Peas in a Pod. It's by Sara Mlynowski. It's about a girl named Abby and she falls in The princess and the Pea story. I got it for my birthday. It's really interesting and funny and a good story. I like the part when they think that Abby is the queen!
ReplyDeleteI'm Reading Big Nate double trouble. It is an awesome book because he is hilarious and it is a two in one book. Big Nate gets detention everyday. In "Strikes Again," Genia is on Nate's Ben Franklin report and S.P.O.F.F ( Sports played only for fun ).
