It's so exciting! Winter break is near! What are your plans? What are you looking forward to most? Are you traveling or staying in Houston? If you celebrate Christmas, what are some of your family's traditions you look forward to every year? If you celebrate Hanukkah, what are some of your traditions? I can't wait to hear what each of you have planned!
For winter brake we are going to stay in Houston. I am looking forward to see people unwrap my presents and see the look on there face. I love to set up the lights with my dad every year.. I go to Aston Texas after Christmas and hunt with some of my dads buds.
ReplyDeleteI am going to go on a trip somewhere but my parents give deciding then thinking of something better so i am e their going to England, Hawaii, Turkey or Aspen. Our house has been chaos latley because of our plans. But i love xmas it is the best time of the year! It was a miracle that it snowed in December because the word snow in Houston is just not right! I love xmas because all your family gets together and has dinner and has great memories. One of my family traditions is buying a nutcracker every year. We have over 27 nutcrackers. My dad just bought one that is a golf guy so it will be AWESOME!! I like winter break because you can sit back relax and watch TV or play soccer or other sports too. I would like to read everyone elses traditions because i bet they are awesome!! Cant wait for XMAS AND HANUKKAH AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy grand parents are coming to Houston to see me and for xmas. I can't wait for the dinner. My mom is so good at making xmas dinner. I am sting in Houston. One of my traditions is we have a brithday party for Jesus and we blow out candles. MERY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HANUKKAH!!!

ReplyDeleteMy family celebrates Christmas. The past couple years we have gone on trips. This year we are celebrating christmas in Napa. We open one present on Christmas eve and the rest on Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI go to my ranch which is in Longveiw, Texas. I have a dune buggy there that I ride sometimes. The disadvantage of being german is I do not get presents from Santa Claus. The advantage is that I open presents on Christmas eve. I hope everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy family celebrates Christmas. We are going to Idaho to see my pappy named Happy. We will go skiing, tubing, sledding and build a snowman. My family tradition is we go to church on Christmas Eve or Day to celebrate Jesus's birthday.
ReplyDeleteI celebrate Christmas. We are suppose to go to Utah on Christmas Day. But we might not go because there is not a lot of snow so we cant ski. After church on Christmas Eve we have a family dinner and then get to open one present. On Christmas morning we go to my grandparents house and open more presents and eat breakfast.

ReplyDeleteI can not wait for Christmas!!!!!!! We will not leave Houston. But we we will still have a great time! I love getting things but when it comes to Christmas I love to give things to my siblings. I am so glad it snowed it really gets you in the the Christmas spirit. And then after Christmas you get even more fun and celebrate the new year!!!!!!!!!! Have a merry Christmas and a happy new year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!☃️❄️☃️❄️☃️❄️
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for Christmas break! We get 2 weeks off of school!( Not that I don't love school). One of my family's traditions are that we always make hot chocolate the night before Christmas and I watch either "A SpongeBob Christmas" or "Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer". This year I am going to Deer Valley in Park City. It is so much fun going, because there is SO MUCH SNOW!!! I go bowling almost every day and tubing if my sister isn't doing homework. Another thing I like about Deer Valley is their s'mores. Mmm. And on New Years, I never actually stay up until midnight. I usually just watch TV until 11:00 and every few minutes, I check the ball in Times Square. My cousins live in Boston, and Boston is one hour ahead. So when it is 11:00 in Houston, it is midnight in Boston. My parents know me and my sister can't stay up until midnight, so we celebrate it at 11:00. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteBut this year, I did stay up until midnight.🤗😎
DeleteOn winter break our family is going to New York and Washington, D.C. When we go to New York we are going on the Acela Express train. In New York City and Connetticutt, we are going to get lots of woodle trains.
