A Season for Giving!!!
This
morning on KLS, Mrs. Babine talked about how sometimes in life it is
the small things you do for others that count. Writing a letter to your
grandmother, holding the door for your parents on your way in to a
restaurant, making a homemade present for a friend—these are all small
things that mean A LOT. With the holiday season coming up, what are some
small things you can do for others? Write at least 3 complete
sentences. Be very thoughtful about what you write.
Here are somethings you and I can do to do good deeds to others.

I am making cards for the hole class and that's giving some cheer. I think that when people say " it's the small things that count." they mean it. Honestly would you rather have a cupcake made by your friend or a store bought toy?

ReplyDeletegood morning to people at school and thank you

There are some things that are very easy to do for others. Like helping my dad bring in the groceries or holding the door for my grandma when she brings in pies as usual. At Christmas eve I plan to make presents for my cousins so I can give them to them when we have Christmas dinner. Which I'm planning to do but I'm still trying to think what a 14 year old would want. Textbooks or something.
ReplyDeleteHere are some nice small things I could do. I could help my mom clean the house. I can help my sister clean up her toys. The last thing I can do is make cookies for my neighbors.

ReplyDeleteMake cookies for friends, rake my neighbor's yard, and make a card for my cousin Gage who has cancer.
Isn't that so sad! reply what you think.

DeleteI help my mom get groceries out of the car to take inside the house. I donate toys to kids that don't get toys. I make homemade presents for friends and family.
ReplyDeleteI pick up the newspaper when I go to someone's house. I make things for people in December when I have time.I am making a card for Jerry.I made something for my mom,Jerry, and Mr.Restrepo.
ReplyDeleteI love to make home made presents and make cards for my friends and family. I also bake things with my mother. Yesterday we baked strawberry-lemon cupcakes. They were so good! It tastes better when you do it with a friend. To mention my parents surprised me by decorating the kitchen with streamers and balloons for my birthday! That was so nice of them to that for me. Its fun to wrap presents for my parents because I know that they will love anything I give them. I also give toys I don't need to my mother so she can give them to people in Mexico who don't have any toys. It is a lot of fun because I know it is for a great cause.
ReplyDeleteI help my dad take the groceries out of the car. I take my plate to the sink when I am done eating. I help walk the dogs.
ReplyDeleteHere are some things that are nice. Opening the door for people who don't have a free hand. Or giving cards to your friends and family. Or you could just be nice to people . You could give some money or a card to the homeless people.
