Manifest Destiny Achieved!!!

Now that we have almost arrived in Oregon, let’s talk about the big ideas of Westward Expansion!

Did the pioneers achieve their goals?  Were the hardships of the trail worth the final result? Let’s talk about the good, the bad, and the final result of the Oregon Trail.  Please write four to five complete sentences with the correct grammar, capital letters, and end marks. 

 

Words have Power!!!

 On Monday, Mrs. Babine spoke to the third and fourth grade about the power of words. We discussed our core values and how we have a responsibility to use our words respectfully and with kindness. Please share an example of how words have power. Have you ever been lifted up by someone’s words? Have you lifted another person up with your words? Please share a way to use your words for good or how another person has helped you with their words. Please write 4 to 5 complete sentences using the correct grammar and punctuation.

 Spring Break is around the corner!!! I know we are all excited to relax, sleep in, read and maybe even go on a trip. What are your plans for Spring Break? What are you most looking forward to?  Is there any particular book you can't wait to read?
