We have been focusing and listening to our inner conversation as we read, and we have been practicing many strategies to help us with this. Writing down our brain tracks, using, fix-up strategies, recognizing the signals of our new learning, and recording our new learning and questions on Post-It notes are some things we have learned. Math is Everywhere!!!
Math is everywhere we go!!! You use math every day in your everyday life. Math is everywhere you look. You see math when telling time so you won't be late. You use math when you decide what to wear in the morning after you listen to the forecast and hear the temperature of the day. You use math when you are playing sports and you have to keep score on how many points each team has. Tell me four specific places where you use math every day. Write in complete sentences please.
